Starting point

With the growing amount of online content, it is sometimes difficult to determine which information is really valuable and which meets the needs of searchers. How can you make sure your content has real impact?

Mani Vivendi is a webshop that focuses on offering effective, sustainable products that promote overall health and help prevent complaints. They sell onder other kombucha, kefir, chi machines, massage machines and yoga-related products.

In November 2022, Mani Vivendi approached us with a challenge: how can we achieve organic growth within the healthcare sector while having limited resources? Their costs for Google Ads were rising and return on ad spend (ROAS) was low. They were looking for a solution to reduce costs while driving organic growth. Together, we looked for answers and developed an innovative approach.

Tackling rising Google Ads costs and cutting costs

The problem was that the Return On Ad Spend (ROAS) from Google Ads had dropped to around 5 by November 2022. The goal was to reduce the cost per click while deploying ad spend smarter.

We started with a thorough analysis of the existing Google Ads campaigns to identify inefficiencies. We then optimised the campaigns by excluding irrelevant keywords, improving ad copy and targeting audiences more accurately. We also ran A/B tests to improve performance and use the ad budget more efficiently.

One of the key steps was to restructure ad groups and improve bidding strategies. This resulted in significantly lower costs per click, allowing Mani Vivendi to get more value from their ad spend.

Increasing ROI from SEO above ROAS level

With the rising cost of online ads, it was vital to increase the Return on Investment (ROI) from SEO to offset the impact of these ad costs. The goal was for the ROI from SEO to be higher than the Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) from Google Ads.

We started with a thorough analysis of the SEO state and conducted a detailed onder search for search terms to identify opportunities. We then searched for search terms with high search volume and low competition, focusing on the most commercially interesting keywords. We developed clusters of content around these keywords to generate more traffic and achieve better margins.

Our approach allowed us to focus on the most valuable keywords, also known as 'money keywords', and create clusters of content around specific categories. As a result, we not only generated more organic traffic, but also improved conversion rates.

Transition to a sustainable, organic business model

Mani Vivendi no longer wanted to depend entirely on paid ads and sought a sustainable, organic approach for their business.

We developed a strategy to create valuable and informative content around relevant search terms. We used advanced technology, whereonder Chat GPT, to generate high-quality content quickly and efficiently. This content aimed to answer common questions and provide useful information to the target audience.

We created informative blog posts and pages on onder topics such as "What is kombucha?" and "Benefits of yoga." This content positioned Mani Vivendi as a trusted source of information in their industry and attracted organic traffic from people looking for valuable information.

For each objective, we formulated a specific approach and strategy to effectively address the challenges. This has enabled us to achieve successful sustainable growth for Mani Vivendi.

Objectives

Since the beginning of our collaboration, remarkable changes have occurred for Mani Vivendi. Organic traffic has increased by a whopping 300% since November 2022. What started as about 50 daily organic visitors has grown into regular days with more than 200 organic visitors. Although official conversion measurements started only from February 2023, a clear increase is also visible here. These results reflect the successful efforts to achieve sustainable organic growth, despite all the challenges. The approach has paid off, and Mani Vivendi is well on its way to becoming a permanently successful organic business, with positive interaction between SEO and Google Ads.
